Dance of Dun Huang Goddesses

A Chinese Classical piece that depict paintings and sculptures of goddesses slowly coming to life. These goddesses enjoy what this world has to offer but great sadness descends inevitably when they return to life as statues. The dance express many human emotions as well as elegance as part of Chinese classical aesthetics style.

Xin Jiang Folk Dance

A traditional style of dance is located in the northwester part of China. This ethnic group has a very long history and they are known for its quick spins, flexible neck movements and wrists actions. Workshop will be available after the performance. This piece is choreographed and performed by Maylia Dolikon.
